This position supports corporate goals and objectives by assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support operations and supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and interprets relevant data: cost, efficiencies etc.
  • Investigates problems, finds root causes and develops solutions.
  • Develops full understanding of IFS manufacturing system and processes.
  • Translates business forecasts into operational forecasts and requirements to help guide decision making for operations and SC.
  • Identifies, builds on, tracks and analyzes key metrics for each operational area of the business, all focused on meeting company goals.
  • In conjunction with operational and financial leadership, identifies opportunities, via qualitative and quantitative analysis, to more efficiently and effectively run operations
  • Acts as the operations team lead to retrieve and analyze information from various data warehouse systems.
  • Develops successful working relationships with other departments and communicates effectively both internally and externally with Management Team and Supervisors.
  • Leads and supports ad hoc projects, assignments and implements as needed.
  • Develops and prepares periodic KPI and financial performance reports and distributes them to operational management.
  • Supports cost accounting in tracking and analyzing monthly manufacturing variances.
  • Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.
  • Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Regulations consistently.
  • Assists with budget process
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations or related field; and,
  • Three years experience demonstrating complex analytical skills, detail orientation with a broad understanding of business goals; or,
  • OR, Satisfactory equivalency of education and experience. MBA strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of: Costing and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment; GL and ERP Systems; Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Regulations
  • Effective English language literacy; oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and team skills for working with employees at all levels within the company

  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel and Access)
  • Skill in organizing, prioritizing and multi-tasking
