Recently, the group introduced new products for use in the areas of diabetes monitoring, HIV testing, and proteomics.

Responsibilities:

• The Planner provides detailed production plans by reviewing MRP messages and forecast generated by the Master Scheduler, and releases the appropriate Work Orders to support the forecast demands
• Primary responsibilities also include reviewing material availability and production capacity, and maintaining the Item Master Order Policy Codes for their assigned parts
• The Planner will also perform problem investigations, and manage reconciliations of any findings in order to correct the problem
• This position will also require participation as a project team member, be an active participant in the Engineering Change Control process, implement Engineering Change orders in the business system, and publish departmental reports

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Materials Management , a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• CPM/CPIM preferred
• Related work experience
• Knowledge and application of Principles and theories of Materials/Inventory Management including BOM and Routing File maintenance within an MRP system
• Detail oriented and organized
• Proficient in computer systems, JDE/Baan, or other MRP systems
