Sr. Production Planner / Master Scheduler

This position will be responsible for reviewing engineering plans and product specifications to determine material requirements to support manufacturing schedules; as well as providing input to management and interfacing with sales, productions, and maintenance managers to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions. They will manage and disposition non-conformance work orders; Review WIP levels and validate work orders; Plan capacity requirements and coordinate production with sales forecasts.

They will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve problems of diverse scope; as well as possibly develop specifications for new contract orders and direct the work of others within the department.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree, or equivalent work experience, or combination of education and experience
• 5-7+ years production planning, scheduling or related work experience
• Advanced experience using MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
• Also preferred is experience with interpretation of data processing output and CPIM or APICS Certification
• Qualified candidates must be well versed in capacity planning
• Advanced knowledge of operating and scheduling procedures and processes
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
