This position plans, schedules and coordinates customer orders through the production cycle. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedule; conducts physical inventories and lead cycle counts analyzing discrepancies; audits incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality; and ensures accurate documentation. Empowerment and initiative are exercised and required in resolving problems and contributing recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the clinical production schedule to meet both internal and external customer deadlines to optimize service levels.
  • Balance the key parameters of inventory, safety stock, customer service, efficient production schedule and cost of goods sold to meet company goals.
  • Provides measurement data to aid in the critical decision making process of increasing capacity and managing our products.
  • Works with other departments to accomplish mutual organizational results during finished goods introductions and discontinuance to minimize material obsolescence.
  • Works with manufacturing and distribution on product deliveries. Monitors finished goods inventory levels, and communicates the status of orders with management.
  • Develops, modifies, and maintains procedures that comply with ISO and FDA requirements.
  • Prepares progress report data and provides continuous improvement suggestions.
  • Provides measurement data to aid in the critical decision making process of increasing capacity and managing our products.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business/Material Management or related subjects is preferred. Five years minimum industry related experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO, FDA and MRP Manufacturing principles.
  • Certification by APICS or ISM (NAPM) is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills. Advanced computer skills using MS Office products.
  • Represent Company to its customers and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Well-organized and able to multi-task, prioritize work assignments, perform basic math functions and work in a team environment.
