Production Planner / Scheduler

Ichor Systems is an OEM and contract manufacturing company headquartered in Tualatin, OR. We are currently recruiting to fill a Production Planner/Scheduler position within our Manufacturing Support department.

Responsibilities:

• This position will be responsible for reviewing engineering plans and product specifications to determine material requirements to support manufacturing schedules
• Providing input to management and interfacing with sales, productions, and maintenance managers to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions
• They will manage and disposition non-conformance work orders
• Review WIP levels and validate work orders
• Plan capacity requirements and coordinate production with sales forecasts

Requirements:

• Need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve problems of diverse scope; as well as possibly develop specifications for new contract orders and direct the work of others within the department.
• Qualified candidates will have advanced knowledge of operating and scheduling procedures and processes
• the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• advanced verbal and written communication skills
• They must possess excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint; as well as MRP, Oracle, & Agile Systems.
• This position requires a B.S. degree, or equivalent work experience, or combination of education and experience
• 5-7+ years production planning, scheduling or related work experience
• Advanced experience using MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
• Also preferred is experience with interpretation of data processing output and CPIM or APICS Certification
