Lean/Kaizen Coordinator

Portland-based Manufacturing Facility is seeking a manufacturing professional with demonstrated experience in Kaizen/continuous improvement processes to organize, lead and sustain Kaizen programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the plant’s continuous improvement activities including:
  • - Assisting management in establishing objectives for kaizen events and preparing for/training/facilitating/implementing/sustaining the efforts of the kaizen teams.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree is required, Engineering Degree is Preferred
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years experience with TPS, kaizen events, KanBan, standard work, process mapping, takt time and identifying waste and areas for process improvement are required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to relate to all levels of the organization
  • High energy level
  • A commitment to the continuous improvement process.

Company offers a salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, DOE. Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement package, and tuition reimbursement.
