The Contract Pricing and Utilization Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of supply chain related data analysis for the purpose of identification of cost savings opportunities in support of Legacy system wide supply utilization reviews, supply standardization, quality improvement and cost containment efforts. Identifies cost savings opportunities through data analysis, product use analysis and contracting opportunities using advanced knowledge of financial, clinical and data systems, as well as PC technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely availability of contract and pricing data in the ERP system and other contractual management systems.
- Extracting and analyzing data from Legacy systems and external systems in response to Supply Chain, clinical and management requests
- Prepare and present financial and statistical analyses, graphs and reports and provides analytical support for a variety of personnel including senior management and directors.
- Develop financial models to evaluate various supplier business proposals and provides statistical analysis for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or related field or a combination of equivalent related experience and education required.
- Three to five years experience as a financial analyst, accountant, or supply chain analyst required.
- Experience in healthcare supply chain, contracting or financial operations highly desired.
- Experience with ERP systems, Lawson preferred
- Demonstrated in depth understanding of the systems that support both customer and department needs.
- Experience in healthcare supply contracting and/or working with National Group Purchasing organizations preferred.
- Previous knowledge of and/or experience with health care related analysis and benchmarking products, tools and databases preferred.
- Experience in use of software including Excel and Access.
- Data management experience related to supply chain and financial systems.
- Statistical analysis experience highly desirable.
