Supply Chain Planner

This position will help manages global demand for multiple product families through the recommendation and implementation of replenishment strategies and through turning of stock plan per product life cycle and business objectives. Bi-lingual English and Mandarin-Chinese language skills will be an asset to ESCO in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Organizes global demand among supply chain, product optimization teams, supply source, and distribution via recommended inventory levels, forecast, safety stock, ESCO inventory policies, and countermeasures for supply/demand mismatches.
• Manages product life cycle and supply source changes at the distribution center level by incorporating new products, promotions, sales plans, and planned part changes into stock plan.
• Maintains ERP data including stock transfers, item set up, stock parameters and supply chain parameters.
• Sustains inventory health per availability and turn targets.
• Provides contiuous improvement through daily problem solving and ESCO QVS activity.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with negotiation or conflict management skills
• Proficient in basic information technologies (Word, Excel, e-mail, Data Warehouse, internet)
• Working knowledge of applicable Oracle Modules
• Working knowledge of ESCO expendable products and distribution network.
• APICS or other certification desirable
• 2-5 years professional experience. Knows and uses well the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
• Under supervision performs varied and somewhat complex coordination of work requiring analysis, travel, and ingenuity in meeting group objectives.
• Bi-lingual English/Mandarin Chinese language skills strongly desired.
