To schedule and manage the Supply into Distribution organizations and maintain credible delivery while working within Plant constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze capacity utilization, manage and smooth MPS, communicate changes to the lead time.
  • Validate that planning data elements are maintained correctly to keep supply flow and plant loading in synch with demand patterns
  • Work within the S&OP process to ensure that Long range schedule is achievable and supports the production plan and sales forecasts
  • Perform analysis and make recommendations for medium term capacity changes to Production Planning manager
  • Investigation and resolution of exception messages 6. Release planned orders from Distribution Center organizations onto manufacturing facility.
  • Reschedule internal sales orders to align the due date with the supplier due date communicate to inside sales when product supply date is not achievable
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Planners to insure that supply to Distribution Centers supports ESCO’s Business Plan, including service level, inventory, and schedule credibility targets
  • Utilize principles of Lean to organize, promote plant to DC flow, and increase inventory turns
  • Cross train in other positions in the Department to backup Team Members when required
  • Maintain a clean working environment (Six S level 4)

Requirements:

  • APICS skills. CPIM preferred. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English
  • Solid understanding of Oracle, Agile, MS Office Suite 4. Analytical problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and execute special projects
  • Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
  • Previous Production planning experience preferred.
