Supervisor, GMP Warehouse Operations
Division Location: Hillsboro, OR

Ensure success of operations in the performance of logistical processing of GMP materials for the HFF site and coordination of transfer of GMP materials from other sites. Scope of responsibility may include some or all of the following: GMP raw materials, WIP, final product, bulk tanks, bulk vials, and finished products. Supervise the receipt, sampling, storage, and issuance of GMP materials. Provide leadership and technical oversight to staff members and junior personnel. Develop and improve staff capabilities in response to department needs and expectations. Anticipate potential problems or vulnerabilities in processes or systems and act as a resource to identify solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise receipt, sampling, storage, and issuance of assigned GMP materials.
  • Develop and monitor related customer interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP's, 21CFR, DOT and IATA regulations, and GNE safety and company policies.
  • Act as a focal point for compliance issues within the department.
  • Represent area and process for internal and external audits.
  • Propose, develop, and implements SOP changes when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain department metrics and statistics.
  • Assist in the development of the department budget, responsible for adherence to it.
  • Responsible for the planning of future manpower, space, and equipment requirements. Proactive on proposals.
  • Using various methods and tools, develop an effective, high achievement team.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate review and resolution of department discrepancies and corrective actions.
  • Perform cGMP, safety, 5S, and facility audits.
  • Lead and promote the use of continuous process improvement, lean tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure effective integration of system implementations and department processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all standardize processes.

Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Business, Materials Management, or Life Sciences or substitute
  • 5+ years of industry experience with a minimum of three plus years of relevant
  • GMP Warehouse experience, including leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles - APICS certification desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of Hazmat handling, GMP requirements and transportation regulations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for extracting information, and monitoring team performance. team performance.
  • Proficiency in collecting data, analyzing, and making recommendations/presentations to management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Successful demonstration of leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Working knowledge of 5S, lean tools/DMAIC, strong knowledge and commitment to Class A
