This position is located at our Carlton location. Acquired in May 2008, Carlton Company is located in Milwaukie, Oregon, USA. Carlton has been a successful manufacturer of saw chain and related products since 1963. Carlton continues to improve and grow its product lines which set new standards in performance, durability, and safety.

Carlton employs approximately 400 employees, most at its Oregon manufacturing facility, and distributes the majority of its products to international markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare production schedule for manufacturing
  • Prepares production reports
  • Analyze and interpret bill of materials
  • Resolves problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities
  • Expedites products through necessary channels
  • Controls inventory levels
  • Assures integrity of inventory records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • APICS certification in MRP and MPS
  • Minimum of an Associates Degree in a business related discipline
  • 3 years production planning experience
  • 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP software a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Word, Excel and MS Outlook
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Good work experience required
